If you turn on Use ‘rx_channel_data_align’ input port in the ALTLVDS_RX MegaWizard Plug-In Manager generation fails for Stratix IV

Description

On the Receiver settings tab of the Parameter Settings page of the ALTLVDS_RX MegaWizard Plug-In Manager, if you turn on Use ‘rx_channel_data_align’ input port, generation fails with a message similar to the following:

Error: Port rx_data_align_reset is being set to the state USED which is incompatible with the current settings of IMPLEMENT_IN_LES(OFF), INTENDED_DEVICE_FAMILY(Stratix IV), rx_data_align(UNDEFINED). The legal state is UNUSED.

Resolution

Turn off Use ‘rx_channel_data_align’ input port.
