Fault Injection Not Supported in Agilex™ 7 FPGA M-Series Without R0 Suffix in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Design Software version 24.3.1

Description

Due to a problem in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3.1, the fault injection feature is not supported in Agilex™ 7 FPGA M-Series devices with OPNs that do not include the R0 suffix. You can enable the fault injection feature in Quartus® Prime Software but fail to run the Fault Injection Debugger on hardware. There is no impact on the SEU feature; you can still enable it for error detection and correction.

Resolution

This problem is planned to be fixed in a future release of Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
