Errors (<number>):Could not allocate the following pins to any bank: - <number> pins at <voltage> mV" in the Early Power Estimator Intel® Stratix® 10

Description

Due to a problem with the Early Power Estimator (EPE) Intel® Stratix® 10 version 19.4 and earlier, you may see this error even if the total number of used pins in the IO tab is within the maximum GPIOs.  

Resolution

You can ignore the error and this problem won’t affect your power estimation result.

This problem has been fixed in Intel® FPGA Power and Thermal Calculator version 21.3.  Use Intel® FPGA Power and Thermal Calculator version 21.3 or newer instead of Early Power Estimator Intel® Stratix® 10.
