Error(11997): Design has 55 tx channels, 9 rx channels, exceeds the capacity of targeted device, 48 channels

Description

Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime  Pro  Edition software version 18.0, you may see this error message when you compile a design targeting a 1SG280HN2F43I3LG device which inculdes PCI Express* Gen1x1 within IO bank 4K and other high speed channels in IO bank 4L. 

Resolution

This issue has been fixed starting from Intel® Quartus® Prime  Pro  Edition software version 18.1 onwards.
