Description

You may see the above error in the Intel® Arria® 10 device 1G/10GbE and 10GBASE-KR PHY IP Parameter Editor Message Pane when Hard PRBS support is enabled when using the Intel® Quartus® Prime software version 15.1.2.

Resolution

This is a known problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime software version 15.1.2. To work around this, you can download and install the patch below

• Download the version 15.1.2 patch 2.16 for Windows (.exe)
• Download the version 15.1.2 patch 2.16 for Linux (.tar)
• Download the Readme for the Quartus II software version 15.1.2 patch 2.16 (.txt)

This problem has been fixed starting in v16.0 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime software.
