Error multiple TX channels placed on transceiver die HSSI_0_0, channel location 'x'.

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® FPGA Power and Thermal Calculator (PTC) version 21.3 and earlier, you might see an error in the message pane referencing the XCVR page after importing a .qptc file. This error only occurs when targeting Intel Agilex® 7 devices.

 

Resolution

To work around this problem, update the protocol mode for the extra unintended channels that show up on the XCVR page as unused.

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1.
