Error (297008): Can't create database directory for project in project directory

Description

You may see the above error when  compiling an Arria® 10 BSP using Quartus® Prime software version 16.1.2 for windows, if a white space has been left after the word "base" when setting the following environment variable 

set ACL_QSH_COMPILE_CMD=quartus_sh --flow compile top -c base 

Resolution

This problem has been fixed starting in v17.0 of the Quartus® Prime software.
