Does Triple-Speed Ethernet Intel® FPGA IP support option "GXB" for the Intel® Stratix® 10 L-Tile/H-Tile device?

Description

No. Triple-Speed Ethernet Intel® FPGA IP does not support option "GXB" for the Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA L-Tile/H-Tile device. And there is no schedule to support option "GXB" as "Transceiver type" in future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.

Resolution

To implement Triple-Speed Ethernet Intel® FPGA IP with transceiver interface for the Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA L-Tile/H-Tile device, follow these steps:

1. Generate L-Tile/H-Tile Transceiver Native PHY Intel Stratix 10 FPGA IP with option "PCS Direct" as "Transceiver configuration rules".
2. Generate Triple-Speed Ethernet Intel FPGA IP with option "None" as "Transceiver type".
3. Connect two IPs manually.
