Does the Intel® Arria® 10 FPGA Remote System Update via PCI Express* design example support simulation without hardware?

Description

Due to a problem in Intel® Arria® 10  Remote System Update via PCI Express* design example, errors may be seen when running the simulation scripts for vcsmx_setup.sh

You may see one of the following errors:

Error-[URMI] Unresolved modules
/.../quartus_22_2_pro_linux/quartus/eda/sim_lib/synopsys/twentynm_atoms_ncrypt.v

Resolution

There is no workaround for this problem.
