CAUI-4 Variations of the LL 100GbE IP Core Do Not Support Serial PMA Loopback Mode

Description

CAUI-4 variations of the LL 100GbE IP core do not support serial PMA loopback mode. If you set any bits in the PHY_PMA_SLOOP register at offset 0x313 in your CAUI-4 variation, the change has no effect.

This issue has no workaround

This issue will be fixed in a future version of the Low Latency 40- and 100-Gbps Ethernet MAC and PHY IP core.
