Using the SD Card IP in Platform Designer

I currently have Quartus version 18.1 downloaded and I want to use the SD card IP core that is apart of the Altera University Program to interact with the micro SD card on my DE0 CV Development Board...

Hi,

Upon checking, the University Program SD Card IP core has been deprecated and removed from Quartus. It should not be used.

What is the next best thing to do if I am unable to use this IP core? I really need this to be able to do read and writes for my micro SD card.
