Using an External clock with DE2 board

Greetings everyone,

I have programmed a de2 board with a simple multiplexing program. Now I want to apply an external clock to this system. I realise that the External clock is applied via the sma connector. My question is what can I use as the source for the External clock?? I checked function generator and it takes only BNC connectors.
