University Program VWF does not work

. Prime Lite Edition as well as the licensed versions that we are currently using in the labs the University Program VWF do not work it gives an error that reads as follows:

**** running the modelsim simulation ****

c:/intelfpga_lite/16.1/modelsim_ae/win32aloem//vsim -c -do trishelle.do

Unable to checkout a license. Vsim is closing.

** Fatal: Invalid license environment. Application closing.

Unable to checkout a license. Make sure your license file environment variables are set correctly and then run 'lmutil lmdiag' to diagnose the problem.

Modelsim - Intel FPGA Edition uses the following environment variables to check the licenses (listed in the order of preference)

1. MGLS_LICENSE_FILE

2. LM_LICENSE_FILE.

    I have the same problem. Anyone can tell us how to solve the problem?

    I used the combined files to reinstall the software. Then, it works.

    hi

    go to u r environment setting from windows menu and add two environment variables.

    LM_LICENSE_FILE which points to the license.bat of the quartus

    MGLS_LICENSE_FILE which points to the license.bat of the quartus

    in both system and user variables. then restart u r pc.

    that will fix the license issue
