there was an error connecting to the Internet... DE1-SOC

I'm trying to install the Altera software, but I receive this error, "There was an error coneccting to the Internet. Please verify your proxy information and ensure your computer is connected to the internet"

any suggestions?

    Either you need to check your proxy settings, like the message says, or there are problems at altera.
