Send image from matlab to DE2

Hai....

Im currently doing a project on encrypting the image using DE2 board. The encryption process will take place in the FPGA board and im using MATLAB to build the GUI. My problem here is that how am i going to send the loaded image in matlab to FPGA board. i have read about dsp builder but i still dont have any idea on how to do it. can anyone help me
