sdram read/write in cylone III on de0 board

hi, I am trying to find a way to make 20x20 squares from 200x400 (200x400is from the middle of 640x480) so I can control display block by block. The thing is I should write it to sdram to make a periodic read. You think this enables a movement function? Does any one has any idea or a code??
