Project calculator on Altera DE2 FPGA Board

Hello,

I'm new in this forum but nevertheless I hope someone can help me with my task.

I have given the SW Altera QuartusII and de HW Altera DE2 FPGA Board

The project I have to implement is a calculator.

I have to implement, simulate and synthesize building blocks e.g. a generic register and 7-segment encoders. Furtheron to drive an PS/2 keyboard on which numbers can be inserted and finally do an calculation of the numbers and display the result on the 7-segment-display.

Does anyone have experience with a project like that or similair this one?

Any help is welcome.
