OpenCore Plus Status window fails to open

I’ve recently upgraded to Quartus 11.1 using Windows7.

I have used 9.1 for several years on WinXP (my labs are located at http://myweb.wit.edu/johnsont/classes/667/morechoiceselec667.htm).

Lab 2 includes a simple Nios II core within the project built in Lab 1 and I am having assorted troubles getting Lab 2 to work this year.

The main problem I believe is the Open Core Plus Status window doesn’t open after I program the DE2 board.

I can’t get that OpenCore Plus Status window to open regardless of whether or not I have set Quartus 11.1 to run as administrator or not.

What do you think?
