NIOS II IDE: error msg 'The NIOS II ELF executable does not exist'

Hi!

Is there anyone who solved the following problem?

when I run my project as NIOS II Instruction Set Simulator, the execution fails and appears the following ERROR MESSAGE:

'The NIOS II ELF executable does not exist.

Please verify that the project built successfully'

I thank you anyone who could give me an hint to solve this problem ;-)

    The problem is solved!!!!

    In the name of the folder of the project there was a SIMPLE space: this was the problem!

    Now it works!

    I meet the same problem ...but I'm afraid I don't really understand you.The name of my project does not have the simple space,,,and the problem is still here...can you help me? Thank you very much.

    Hi,

    it's a long time ago I did this project, but just to be sure, have you checked that in the overall path name of the project there are no spaces in?
