Hello, as long as you understand how digital logic works, and how it can be applied to real world problems then I see no reason why you shouldn't understand it. I doubt the course will cover electronics in detail.

If you have MCU knowledge then you should be OK, Nios II is more or less identical to any other MCU platform.

Do you have any course pre-requisites notes we could look at to give you a better idea?
