DE2-115 USB drivers Windows 7

Hello all

I'm trying to run the DE2_115_NIOS_DEVICE_LED demo but am having trouble getting my computer (Windows 7 x64) to install the d12test.inf driver.

In device manager it just comes up as 'Unknown device'. If I try and "udpate driver" and point it to the directory containing d12test.inf it says its got the best driver already. If I right click d12test.inf and install windows says "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation".

Anybody got a workaround for this problem?

    I emailed Terasic about this issue and they've told me that they've not got a 64 bit version of the driver and I should run Windows XP - which isn't really an option.

    The drivers are located in the <Path to Quartus II installation>\drivers\ directory.

    I know it's been a while since you posted. I hope this still helps.

    hi, try to google the driver. I always try this if I had problems like yours and none of them failed
