Are there tools available to simulate Terasic DE2-115 development kits for education purposes?

We run an undergrad course (Digital Systems Lab) in which we use Quartus Prime and Terasic DE2-115 kits. We have plenty of these for students to work in their own time. However, the COVID19 restrictions mean the actual kits are currently off-limits to students. Some kind of virtual replacement downloadable or directly available online would be great.

    Hi,

    Without kits we can't program. Better to use ModelSim-Altera Starter Edition for checking the functionality of the design.
