without niosⅡ run FPGA

We have implemented a program in FPGA that uses file I/O to perform addition.
I would like to run it without using nios II, but how do I do that? (Other than nios II Software Build Tools for Eclipse?).
By the way, I would like to run the program on QuartusPrime without using the switches and LEDs on the FPGA.
