15 years agoDrive strenght is the maximum current that the pin can drive.
In modern FPGA this is programmbale. If you don't set the value you get a warning saying that a default value (probably the highest current) has been set. This is not a problem unless you don't have signal integrity problems in the integration of your FPGA on the final board. I think that when you don't get the warning is because the value is not programmable
