Why throughput estimation deprecated in V14.0?

Hi all,

i found out in documentation (Altera SDK for OpenCL Version 14.0 Release Notes) that the throughput estimation deprecated?

Can anybod say why? It was a good, nice and helpful tool!

    Hello,

    The throughput estimator was deprecated because its output was based on too many assumptions and was often wildly incorrect.
