Where does a file captured from flash using the "Examine" function reside?

So I have Quartus II software and am trying to read devices that do NOT have the security bit set. I get a 100% successful on the process but have no idea where the data actually goes. How do I loc...

I think it just saves it as a *.pof file. Delete any *.pof file (or rename it) in your project folder, run "examine", and see if a new *.pof file is created.

Or you can just look at the timestamp of the *.pof file, run "examine", and see if the timestamp changed.
