using POF in Quartus

Question

Hi.

I'm trying to program a MAX9000. I have a POF file and need to convert it to a JAM file. When I try to bring the POF file into the programmer in Quartus II v10.0, I get the following error

Error: Device EPM9560A is not supported

What version of the tool supports this part? And what is the best way to convert to a JAM file.

lots of legacy devices were removed in 9.1 or 10.0

take a release at the device release notes to see when the device was supported

the weird thing is all MAX families are still listed as supported
