"Use smart compilation" is greyed out

Dear all, I'm using Quartus Prime Lite Edition 18.1, however the issue persists also with 18.0. The "Use smart compilation" is greyed out and cannot be enabled. Is this a device-dependent thing? M...

Dear Vicky,

as you can see from the image attached, the option is greyed out.

I tried to create a blank project with multiple devices in the MAX10 family, and the option is always greyed out.

When I create a blank project with a Cyclone device, the option is available.

Bug? Intentional limitation?
