I recently installed Quartus 16.0 on my Windows 7 Computer and unistalled Quartus 15.1. When I went to run SignalTAP, I get:No device selected

even after I have selected USB-Blaster
I have tried two different US- Blaster cables.
When I check the device driver status, I get:
This device is working properly.
When I check the Driver File Details I get:
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\usbblstr.sys C:\Windows\system32\usbblstr32.dll C:\Windows\system32\usbblstrlang.dll C:\Windows\ststem32\usbblstrui.dll C:\Windows\syswow64\usbblstr2.dll I uninstalled the river and re-installed it by plugging in the USB Blaster and go the same result
Any suggestions?

I'm having the same issue.
It's very weird, because the JTAG programmer works fine. I have tried two brand-new USB-Blaster IIs with this.
It's even weirder, because this morning SignalTap II was working, then I made a change to the design, and now it doesn't.
Another detail. In the SignalTap II GUI, in the JTAG Chain Configuration window, in the Hardware box I see my USB-BlasterII recognized. I can scan the JTAG chain, too, and it finds the FPGA (a Cyclone V). Attempting to program the device results in the "Invalid JTAG configuration" error. Now when I click the "Setup ..." box in the JTAG Chain Configuration, in the Hardware Settings tab for "currently selected hardware" I see "No Hardware" chosen. I pull that down and select the USB Blaster II and click close. Again, I try to program the device and get the same "Invalid JTAG configuration" error.
But back in the Programmer program (only one is open at a time), if I click the "Hardware Setup" button, the same hardware select dialog pops up as in SignalTap II, only this time "Currently selected hardware" is my USB-BlasterII," not "No Hardware."
So there is something screwy going on with how SignalTap II chooses the JTAG hardware.
