USB Blaster not recognised by 11.0

I recently upgraded to Quartus II 11.0, and found that my USB Blaster wasn't recognised when programming. I checked on the Altera web site and found that there was a problem with the 11.0 standalone programming utility, but the built-in software wasn't mentioned. The fix was to download the 10.1 utility. Anyway, I downloaded the 10.1 utility, and it worked.

Has anyone been able to get the USB Blaster to work with the 11.0 built-in programmer?

The strange thing is that it is recognised by SignalTap in 11.0.

    Hi there,

    I have not installed any driver since the first one when I installed my WIN7 System (I think something around 9.0). MEanwhile I changed to QuartusII 11.0 and the USB Blaster has been recognized "from the start".

    Thus - Yes I got it working, but I have not done anything special or could guess, what's your problem... Perhaps it's worth to reinstall the driver by the device manager?

    I've tried that, several times.

    I'm using Win7 x64, that might have something to do with it. I've subsequently found lots of posts from people who are having similar problems.

    用11.0， SignalTap II也无法正常工作。因此需要先卸载USB-Blaster，然后选用以前版本的驱动，譬如10.1或之前对方答复。

    Under 11.0, SignalTap II can not work normally too. Hence, uninstall Altera USB-Blaster, and change the driver in version 10.1, or before, and so fourth.

    Leon,

    Where did you find the 10.1 Stand-alone Programmer Utility? All I can find on Altera'a Website is the 11.0 Programmer.
