update mif.too much time!!

hello all!.my cuestion is about the mif update process and why spend to quartus more time than full compilation ,include with only with a litle MIF file. thanks

Are you asking why it takes so long to recompile when all you have changed is a MIF file?

If yes, then try enabling the "Use smart compilation" option under Settings->Compilation Process Settings.
