Unique constant per instantiation

Good morning! Is there a way to generate a constant that is unique per call to the function? I want something like this: architecture ... constant c_myid : std_logic_vector(31 downto 0...

One issue you would have with something like this, is that you would have no control over each component's unique ID, as it depend on the order they were elaborated in. The only way to control this would be via a generic.
