Uninstall a device

I'm using Quartus Web 13.0.1. When installing the Arria II and Cyclone II devices, the Cyclone one failed - I think because of a corrupt device file. I've since download a good copy of the file, but I can't install it. While Quartus doesn't think (correctly) that I have the Cyclone II device installed, the device installer thinks I do. When I go to install the device, it's already ticked.

Is there any way to uninstall a device?

The most reliable way to fix this is to uninstall quartus and then re-install it with the desired device files. Also, make sure you check the MD5 sum of the files before you do the install. If they don't match you have a bad download and need to download it again.

So far I have not come across with a specific way to uninstall a device database from Quartus. I believe the most effective way would be as what Galfonz has suggested. Uninstall the whole quartus, clean up any left over file, then reinstall the Quartus.

There are no way to uninstall the device, because it is not necessary/used for the user to do that.

Yes, Quartus does not have uninstall device function because usually user will not face any problem when installing the device. So, if you need those function, I would recommend you to inform Altera for the enhancement.
