A Knowledge Base article has been published to address the following issue:

Test download failed with certificate error: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate (curlcode 60)

If you encounter this error when using the Quartus installer, please follow the steps outlined in the article below to resolve the issue:

    How about for earlier Quartus version installers which do not give you the option to specify cacert.pem via the GUI or command line?  I am attempting to install Quartus Prime Pro 23.4 and this is the case.  See attached.

      Unfortunately, the KDB workaround provided below applies to the following versions of Quartus software:

       

      As stated in the Note, you will have to download the Quartus software package files individually without using the installer.
