Specify address of a variable in hexout file

Hello everybody, is it possible to map a constant vhdl variable to a specific address in the .hexout file like in a linker file of a uC. How can I specifiy the address of this variable in Quartus ...

Are you asking about the .hexout file (configuration) file or the .hex (memory initialization file)?
