Simulation of PCI-E Harc IP in Modelsim Altera Starter

Hi,

I'm trying to simulate PCI-Express example designs which are added to Quartus 11.1, but in every case Modelsim shows some files not found ie.

Instantiation of 'arriav_hd_altpe2_hip_top_encrypted' failed. The design unit was not found.

Does those simulations/testbenches work with Modelsim Altera Starter or is there else I need to do (after generating them in Qsys)?

    IIRC, the BFM of PCIE was removed from Quartus versions 11 and 12, so you have to use Quartus 13.

    Ok, I've used Quartus 13 and Modelsim Altera Starter within (version for Quartus 13) and tried to compile an example in altera_pcie_cv_hip_avmm directory. Still getting an error:

    # ** Error: (vsim-3170) Could not find 'C:/altera/13.0sp1/ip/altera/altera_pcie/altera_pcie_cv_hip_avmm/example_designs/ep_g1x1/testbench/mentor/libraries/work.pcie_de_gen1_x1_ast64_tb'.

    Any suggestions?
