Signaltap Log Files location

I am using the Signaltap Logic Analyzer tool to capture 64 samples over five different VHDL signals when an event (trigger) occurs. I want to capture and store 10000 events for later analysis. I have seen (in Signaltap window) that each event is held in a log, but I do not know where these log files are. I want to extract data from these files (e.g., using a python script) since otherwise, I must save each log individually by double-clicking and save. Where are Signaltap log files located? Is there any other strategy to automatically save all events?

    Hello,

Logs are stored in the .stp Signaltap file. You'll notice that the size of saved .stp increases with each log recording added.

Unlike in structured Signaltap list files, logas are stored as long xml strings. I agree that it would be good to have a decoding tool for .stp files, but I din't see yet anything of this kind.

    Hi,

Log files are stored in signal tap file .stp. May be can try with File -> Create Signal Tap List File / Export...

    Thanks,

    Best Regards,
