Regarding QuartusII

Hi Dear All friends

Hope to be fine

I am new in this forum and Altera tools and I have some primary questions about QuartusII

I worked with xilinx but not QuartusII

can I do pin configuration by my self or this software does it automatically?

if I configure pins and compile it can I change the pin configuratuin later?

I'm wondering if you can answer me as soon as possible

    Yes, you may compile without assigning any pins. QuartusII will select pin assignments. An easy way to assign them yourself is with the Quartus menu selection assignments -> pin planner. You can do this in between compiles, and simply drag pins from the list up to the graphic of the chip.
