QuestaSim path

When I attempt to start QuestaSim, it will not launch because the path to the executables has not been specified. How do I specify the path?

    Hi billviso,

    May I know the Quartus edition pro/std/lite?

    Hi billviso,

    For Lite/Std, may go to Tools/Options/EDA Tools Options in Quartus

    For Pro, may go to Tools/Launch Simulation Library Compiler

    Then, specify the Questasim path:

    — On Linux systems: <installation directory>/questa_fe/bin
    — On Windows systems: <installation directory>/questa_fe/win64

    Questasim Path for starter edition:

    — On Linux systems: <installation directory>/questa_fse/bin
    — On Windows systems: <installation directory>/questa_fse/win64
