Quartus v19.1 versus v12.1

We are getting a different synthesized frequency value when the same design is being synthesized on v12.1 (157 MHz) and compared in v19.1 (169 MHz). Is it expected that the results obtained in v19...

Hi,

Yes, the result is expected.

There are many reasons account for this. In this case, it might be the different version of Quartus software.
