Quartus Prime Simulation Waveform Editor MGLS

I'm having a problem when trying to run a simulation using the Simulation Waveform Editor in my Quartus Prime Lite Edition. When I try to run a simulation a message appears saying:

"Failed to load required MGLS dll."

After clicking OK I get:

"Could not load mgls.dll from expected location (c:\altera_lite\16.0\modelsim_ase\win32aloem\mgls.dll)"

And then VLM.exe crashes.

I have no idea what this means, and trying to search has returned nothing. Can any advice be given on this?

    Hi,

    The mgls.dll error is related to the license since we are using Lite Edition which does not require the license.

    Try to reinstall ModelSim.
