I was wondering is there any way to make working block diagram or text files into the Quartus modules. Discarding the files for the project and have them load by default to be implemented around your project? Like the default modules..

Quartus IP and custom IP are different things. You need to import custom IP into your project like any other source files.Honored ContributorShould be a feature.. Saves a lot of time finding things and reinventing the wheel. And it looks better right, id rather not look at things that represent a collection of files.
Honored ContributorIf you have a collection of files that represent a single IP block, just create a TCL files that includes all of them, and then include the tcl file in your project.
