Quartus II Web Edition Compatibility

Our company just converted to Windows7, and we can no longer program our parts with MaxPlusII Byteblaster cable. The best option seems to be the USB Blaster cable. There is conflicting information on Altera's site as to whether the Web edition of Quartus II will support Windows7 64-bit operating system. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    yes, the 32-bit Web Edition binary will work on 64-bit Windows

    you may end up needing to install the free Quartus II Stand Alone Programmer to get the 64-bit USB Blaster driver, I can't remember
