quartus ii version 6.0 programmer not detecting USB-blaster

I have a version 6.0 quartus full subscription edition. i Have installed USB blaster driver and it is available in "my device" list. But when i opened the programmer in quartus II, the usb blaster-0 is not detected. Anybody knows how to solve this.....

    Hi,

    check whether the JTAG server is running or not as the JTAG server is the interface between the HW and Programmer in quartus. Besides this, which version of windows are you using as there are known issues with e.g. Win7 / 64Bit systems...
