Quartus II Compability

The software requirement said that it operates under Win XP and 2000.

So does that mean Win Vista user can't use the program??

Because the setup seems to freeze and not responding during the installation process.

Is this a common problem??

Regards,

LoneSync

The Quartus® II software is supported on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Vista beginning with version 7.2.

However, SOPC Builder and the Nios® II integrated development environment (IDE) included with the Quartus II software version 7.2 are not supported on Windows Vista.

    Problem solved.

The only difference between can and can't installed is the taskbar height.

2 row = can't installed, program freeze / not responding during installation

1 row = no problem detected.

how come such problem exist? is it the installer bug? or is it my computer problem (but i just fresh installed my OS few days ago)??
