Quartus II 14.0

Quartus II 14.0 is now available. I'm in the process of downloading it, it's 2.07 GB.

From release notes.

"The MegaWizard Plug-In Manager has been removed from the

Quartus II software release version 14.0

The IP Catalog and parameter editor replace the MegaWizard Plug-In

Manager in the Quartus II software to unify all Altera IP within one GUI.

The Quartus II software might generate messages that refer to the

MegaWizard Plug-In Manager. Substitute "IP Catalog and parameter

editor" for "MegaWizard Plug-In Manager" in these messages"

You can open the file generated by the Megawizard by selecting it in the file pane (drop down from qip). However file->open will always start the megawizard.

I cannot see this described in the release notes which is poor.

May I suggest a pop up box that let's the user choose?
