I did a compilation and see top, iotop and found out that all the CPUs are nearly idle, and it seems that there is no heavy disk IO either. Here is a message that bothers me alot. Info: Quartus II 64-Bit Fitter was successful. 0 errors, 83 warnings Info: Peak virtual memory: 1461 megabytes Info: Processing ended: Sun Sep 20 07:38:50 2015 Info: Elapsed time: 00:02:48 Info: Total CPU time (on all processors): 00:00:11 It seems like most of the time the program is doing nothing! I guess http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49104 has the same problem...
