Quartus 9.1sp1 : .jic (JTAG indirect ...) vs .pof (programing object file)

Hi, I am using Quartus 9.1sp1 Web Edition under windows XP SP2

Quartus II generated .pof (compressed ?) and .sof files. As usual.

I convert the sof file to .jic using the "convert programing file" under Quartus

I configured my epcs through my FPGA using Jtag with my generated .jic.

I "examine" my epcs and save to .pof files.

As a result, i got slightly different behaviour of my card.

I made checksums (with Peazip) :

\test_pof_jic\ep2c15_generated.pof 988B24DB
\test_pof_jic\after_conversion_from_sofcompression_to_jic.pof 24709DBE
\test_pof_jic\after_conversion_from_sofnocompression_to_jic.pof 2E275B19

The generated .pof after conversion are different of the generated .pof by compilation.

Have you used Indirect configuration with .jic files ?

Have you already faced to different behaviour between {a directly configured card by .pof} and {a configured card by .jic} ?

Could I trust a configured card with Jic ?

EDIT :

I found (using fc.exe) differences at the end of the .pof (disabled compression) files

maybe .jic does not include some options like

"Auto restart configuration after error"

"enable error detection crc"

...

if any expert could confirm.
