Quartus 15.0 starts, but hangs

The splash screen displays, and quartus.exe shows in task manager, but that is all. The Quartus programmer executable runs successfully. Environmental variables look all right i.e. C:\altera\15.0...

Hi,

Probably you might want to try uninstall and reinstall the Quartus II 15.0 just in case there is any issue with the previous installation. Alternatively, you could also try installing other Quartus II version ie 14.1, 13.1 to see if same issue exists.
