Platform designer (Qsys) slow under ubuntu

Hi,

I have windows and ubuntu installed on the same laptop (dual boot)

I have Quartus standard license.

When I create the same system under platform-designer and try to generate HDL;

under ubuntu 20 minutes

under windows 6 minutes

I have parallel process enabled for 16 processor I have in my laptop.

NOTE:the same problem does not happen when I compile a code under Quartus (not Platform-designer), the compilation time takes 6 minutes under windows and 6 minutes under ubuntu.

What could be the problem that makes code generation under ubuntu takes long time?

    I assume that you are running in window 10.


    Which Ubuntu version that you are running?
